The Jewel Cowl
The Jewel cowl is the perfect speedy companion to the popular Jewel hat. It wraps around twice giving extra warmth on cold weather days. Made entirely with crochet, this cowl is worked in the round using bobble stitch.
Gauge: 4.5 bobble sts and 7 rows per 10cm (4in) tension square on 4mm crochet hook.
Measurements: When laid flat, 70cm (28in) wide and 30cm (12in) deep.
You will need at least 150g to make this cowl. I recommend 2 balls of Cygnet Boho Spirit DK as that is what I used.
You will also need:
A 4mm crochet hook.
A darning needle for weaving in ends.
This is a downloadable pattern PDF. I would like to thank you in advance for choosing to support independent designers. I hope you enjoy making this cowl.
If you have yarn left over, feel free to keep going until you run out for a thicker, warmer cowl.
