They measure 1.5cm wide and 1cm tall and are made of enamel. The back of the stitch marker is metal. 

They are sold as a set of 2 with either a lobster clasp fastening or a 10mm fixed ring.

The lobster clasp enables the marker to be removed mid project. It is therefore ideal for crochet projects as well as knitting projects as it can be attached directly to the stitch. It can be used on needles up to 3.5mm thick. 

The fixed ring can be used with knitting needles that are up to 7mm thick.
